Every night we will fall asleep under the stars, and rise to the sounds of the forest: the birds & the river.
We’ll slowly wake ourselves & our bodies up through kind, playful & embodied movement practices.
Our days filled with workshops, rituals, circles, romance, saunas, and sillyness. With plenty of time for exploring Cara Creek and chilling, whether that’s lounging, reading a book, sweating in the sauna or cooling down in the pool. We may laugh, nap, cry or dance together! Community is at the heart of it all.
Feeling switched on and grounded within our bodies.
Filling our bellies with yummy food and ending our days, feeling nourished and supported by the babes we have around us.

Who is your host alis?
I am a Yorkshire las: here to support and guide you back to your most loving, fabulous, empowered and grounded self.
My aim is to create warm & welcoming spaces for a variety of bodies. I facilitate heart-opening embodied experiences through movement, cacao, yoga, self-enquiry, breathwork & meditation. I am also a booty-shaker, chips lover, cold-water swimming, rest enthusiast, comedy go-er and all round nature & music lover.
Here to show you it doesn‘t have to be complicated

We will go on a soothing & sensual meditation journey whilst sweating it out in the sauna. Involving down-regulating ourselves with breath,

Guided and intuitive movement & embodiment, plus deep rest to an eclectic Alis playlist. Always different! Sometimes we'll be out dancing in the forest or blindfolded in the shala.

Louise THE SPXCE is an absolutely gorgeous woman
& powerhouse in her own right.
She will be leading us through nurturing and empowering breathwork, where we get to connect to our baddass hearts and build confidence within the ice!
We’ll be jumping into the ice together and celebrating each other as we do!

Off-Grid Cara Creek Eco Lodge sits in a majestic valley where 2 rivers meet. Ashely & Rory have worked to complement the land's beauty by building from natural & local materials. The venue is run on solely solar power & the water supplied by the land. Sleep in close proximity with nature from the comfort of a cosy bed.

FAQ
Is this retreat for me?
This space is for women, transwomen & non-binary AFAB to come together & celebrate each other. And maybe even make some new friends! All shapes, bodies, ages & abilities are welcome. If you’ve been feeling the pull of it being a HELL YEAH then it’s for you! I alway foster full autonomy over your own body and what you do with it within my sessions, this retreat is no different. Maybe you’ve never been on a retreat at all before, that’s also totally okay! I invite you to be brave and come along for the ride babe! Enjoyment of nature is probably desired :-)
Do I need to be good at yoga or dancing?
Absolutely not. Everything is very optional. I guide you to listen to your body and to move in a way that is kind and compassionate to yourself. Although my style of yoga & movement practices I regard as being gentle, I appreciate everyone’s bodies are different, and always provide plenty of options. All wobbles & slow movement is welcome here (that’s my fav). You can join in as much or as little as you want. All shapes, sizes, jiggles welcome here!
Do I have to be nakee?
Absolutely not. We will talk about consent & what we’re comfortable with at the start of the week.
This week is to celebrate ourselves and our (optionally naked) bodies at times if desired.
Can I pay in installments?
Ofcourse! Payment plans are available. Pay a £300 deposit then the remaining amount can be paid in a 6 month payment plan. Earlybird pricing includes payment plans. (Details on booking form)
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Sometimes coming on your own can mean you can fully let go into the experience, and make some new like-minded friends! I’ll also do my best to help you feel supported & part of the group.
How can I book?

Are there toilets & showers?
Bathrooms are shared. There are 3 showers sustainably heated by solar power or a wood stove. Plus 2 cold water outdoor showers. There are 3 flushing toilets and 2 dry compost toilets.
What is the accessibility of the venue?
We are out in nature and in a venue which isn’t stepfree, so may be problematic for those with some mobility issues.

Is there electricity?
Eco Pods do not have electricity, but do have a small solar lamp. Charging points will be available on site, but this is an
opportunity to switch off as much as possible. We are off-grid and in the forest. There is wifi, but the aim is for us to switch off as much as we can <3
